Mercy announces scholarships in Mtn. View area

For the 14th year, the Mercy Health Foundation – St. Francis in Mountain View is offering five local seniors a shot at $1,000 scholarships. The Dr. Grace O. Doane scholarships are specifically for students interested in entering the health care profession.

CBCO blood drive planned at TCMH

Texas County Memorial Hospital is hosting a blood drive on Fri., Jan. 26th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) will collect blood donations in the Jayson Gentry Community Safe Room on the TCMH campus.

Flu season hitting hard

The 2017-2018 flu season is off to an early start in Missouri. As of November 25, 2017, there were 1,545 cases of the flu reported to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, compared to 379 cases reported at the same time last year.
